University of Twente (UT)
The Services Cybersecurity and Safety group (SCS) forms the heart of University of Twente’s information security research. The goal of the SCS group is to develop methods and techniques for developing IT-based services that balance service levels with safety-and security levels, and to develop methods and techniques that make existing IT-based services more secure. The group works on data and network security and cybercrime prevention. In the past three years, the SCS group has joined several initiatives focused on securing critical infrastructures. In particular, we participate in two nationally-funded and one European-funded projects where, together with partners from different critical sectors such as water, gas and energy distribution, we aim to increase the security of critical infrastructure computer networks.
